Woolf Family Maternity Session in Wildflower Field

In case you can’t tell, this is my awesome sister Erin. Yes, we look alike. No, we are not twins. Yes, even our laughs are similar. These are all comments that we hear A LOT. The twins one not as much, although I have to admit that I love that question since I’m five years older than Erin. Ha ha!

Erin braved the 10 hour drive from Utah with an 18 month old and a pregnant belly to come see us, and I’m so glad she did! That is definitely a downfall of living so far away; we don’t get a lot of sister time! We made up for it the weekend her and her family were up though. We drove to Placitas to hike a trail that goes to a cave, and we made the husbands and kids all ride together in one car. I know, we’re so mean! Ha ha. It was super nice though. Erin also introduced to Queer Eye and I am HOOKED. It’s so freaking good. And it really IS more than a makeover.

Erin has been my photography muse since she was in junior high. I have taken more photos of her and practiced my photography on her more than anyone else. I took her missionary pictures when all I had was a bridge camera (no DSLR yet), and I also took her engagments, bridals, and family pictures when my niece was just a couple months old. So yeah, I have a lot of galleries with her name on them.

Erin is like me: she loves greenery and sunlight in her pictures. We decided to go up to this meadow in the Sandias that I LOVE (it’s seriously my happy place), but I’ve had bad luck taking pictures there. I took my own family pictures up there and it happened to be a cloudy day, and when we got up there for her session it was cloudy as well. We just had to roll with it since we couldn’t reschedule for another day.

Erin is the best sister EVER and I’m so glad she’s mine. Love you Rinny!
