Well hey there!
I’m Kristina and I can’t wait to meet you!
.
But first let me introduce myself!
My husband and I have been married for fourteen years now and we have three rambunctious little (and not so little) boys. My days are usually filled with the hustle and bustle of being a mom, dirty hands, staying one step behind those dirty hands to clean up, my boys laughing (let’s be honest, my boys fighting too), and figuring out our next adventure. I love chocolate, decorating my house and DIY projects, reading novels, and cardio kickboxing. I love basically anything BBC puts out, but I especially love Downton Abby and The Great British Baking Show. I’m a sucker for romantic movies, and I have the best husband who loves to surprise me. He is my biggest support and my favorite human.
Why Photography is my jam
First of all, I just LOVE it! I love how it freezes moments in time, how it captures moments for us to return to. I want to remember holding chubby hands, hearing little giggles, and all the little moments that make up my life the way it is right now. Becoming a mom made me realize how quickly things change, and how the little things you though you’d always remember sometimes get forgotten. It has made me focus on small things, on those little moments that we often pass by without taking notice.
I want to capture YOU and your loved ones. I want your session to be a stress-free hour of playing with your kids or being a dork with your loved one, with occasional prompts and direction from me! I want you to be able to relax, even if you’re worried your kids won’t listen, or you don’t think your photogenic (you are!). I love to capture those natural and candid moments, because I believe THAT is the best type of portrait.
Soooooo . . . Let’s do this!
-
The feeling of chubby little hands in mine
-
Watching Carson and Emmett help Hunter-comforting him, picking him up, talking sweetly to him
-
The look my husband and I share when one of the kids does something hilarious
-
Emmett bringing me heart that he made from a receipt and describing with pride how he accomplished it
-
The pure joy of my kids laughing
-
Hunter’s little voice asking “Otay mommy?” when he notices me having a hard time
-
Face smashes and tight hugs
-
Being so impressed with one of my kids' creativity because I would’ve never thought to do it that way.
-
How I can point out random signs to Hunter (to distract him) and he loves it because everything is new and exciting for him.
